The Advanced Phone Z uses trueCall technology to provide advanced nuisance-call blocking. BT states that the system can block up to 1,000 numbers, helping you control which calls you receive. A dedicated call-blocking button provides convenient access to the blocking function. A Caller Display service from your network provider is required for the nuisance-call blocking and other Caller Display-dependent features.

The built-in digital answering machine can record up to 30 minutes of messages, while the handset and base provide convenient message playback and control.

The phone also features a hands-free speaker, excellent sound quality and long-range reception of up to approximately 300 metres outdoors and 50 metres indoors under ideal conditions. The handset provides up to 22 hours of talk time or up to 240 hours of standby time.
